Fitted the battery box and started on the CDI mounting, i'm happy with where it is and will pop-rivet in place once I'm sure I can still get the battery+box in/out with it in place.
I also changed to mushroom head bolts for the tank mounting plate so it cleared the edges of the tank. I'm now trying to figure out the fuel pump, starter solenoid and rectifier mounting. I did make up and weld on to the battery box some mounting plates for the solenoid , but i just couldn't get the battery box in the bike, so cut them off and will probably zip tie it to the battery box instead.
